My father painted many paintings, which he stored in a drawer. I thought it would be nice to frame some of them and put them for display on the wall so people could see them. So I started looking for frames, but I could not find any frame that would fit. The problem is that my father would just paint on a random piece of carton, not a standard size that would fit any standard frame for sale and none the same size. Some are even painted on both sides. My first thought was that I could buy the kind of frames that comes with a piece of carton with a hole for the picture and just modify the hole. But if it would fit in width the height would be to small or to large or vice versa. So I thought, how hard can it be to make some picture frames? I went to the hardware store and bought some materials and made some picture frames. Here are some pictures of the making of the frames.
